AEA Stage Management

Katherine has worked as a stage manager for over ten years and is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association.

 

Kate currently works most frequently as the resident Production Stage Manager with Detroit Public Theatre, where they have PSMed 15+ productions; select additional stage management credits include productions with Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Chautauqua Theater Company, Flint Repertory Theatre, and the Wharton Center for the Performing Arts MSU FCU Institute for Arts and Creativity, including short-term tours both in state and nationally. Related experience includes working as Wardrobe Supervisor with the Michigan Opera Theatre at the Detroit Opera House.

Kate is active in Actors' Equity Association volunteer governance. In August 2019, they were elected to serve on the AEA National Council, filling the Central Regional Stage Manager seat and joining the Central Regional Board with a term that goes into 2024.
